Dave and Skiing

YEA
though I cruise down
steep mountains
at 40 mph with no idea what's behind the next switchback
I shall fear no
EVIL
because
at 11,000 feet
there isn't enough oxygen for my brain
to understand
FEAR
anyway.

I have been skiing since I was about 13 years old. I learned how to ski at Snowsnake and have skied mostly Michigan hills since then. I've been at Snowsnake, Boyne Highlands, Crystal Mountain, Caberfae, Alpine Valley, Shanty Creek & Schuss Mountain, and Sugar Loaf. So far, Crystal Mountain is my favorite.

I also enjoy doing NASTAR ski racing. I've come up with five bronze medals, one of which was only .06 seconds away from a silver!

During the Spring Break of my Freshman year, I was at Blue Mountain, Canada for a week with some guys on my hall. Great place - try it sometime.

This past Christmas Break I went to Colorado with some of my friends from my hallway here at school. We skied Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and twice at Winter Park. Click here for a full description and some pictures of my colorado trip.
